Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has sign a new contract with Belgian club Gent that will run till 2018. The Central Super Eagles defender had been linked with possible moves to a number of teams in England in the summer transfer market including Crystal Palace, Swansea City, Norwich City and Brigthon & Hove Albion but he has committed his future to Genk till 2018.
The half Nigerian, half Dutch shared the photo on his Instagram page with the caption: "New contract KAA Gent."
