Beyonce in court for $7million lawsuit over stolen music

Beyonce and her company Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records have been taken to court over her hit 'XO' for $7 million after Ahmad Lane filed a federal lawsuit claiming she had stolen the music for the track. 

Ahmad alleges that Beyonce's current backing singer Chrissy Collins gave her a copy of his song 'XOXO' after he passed on the track to her when the pair were working together for another artist.

However, the Grammy Award-winner has vehemently denied the claims in court documents obtained by Radar Online.

Firefighters battle Ajah market fire in Lagos

Firefighters are currently battling to put out a fire that broke out in Ajah Market in Lagos. No one could ascertain what caused the fire, but an eyewitness, who called our correspondent on Sunday, explained that the fire started around 4.30pm.

“There is a fire right now in Ajah Market. It started about an hour ago. The firefighters are there to put it out,”said the caller, who identified himself as Mike, a vendor.
