Azealia Banks blast Nicki Minaj for race comments



Azealia Banks has criticised Nicki Minaj for not speaking out about racial discrimination sooner. Recall, +Nicki Minaj complained that black women are ''rarely rewarded'' for their contribution to pop culture after she failed to receive a nomination for the Video of the Year prize at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards but Azealia has now hit back saying she only spoke out against discrimination once it started to affect her personally.

Nick Gordon has begged Bobby Brown to let him attend Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral.

The 25-year-old star has reportedly sent an email to the father of his late girlfriend and her aunt Pat Houston to get their blessing for him to attend the service, which is due to take place tomorrow (08.01.15).

According to gossip website TMZ, the email reads: ''I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye.

''I'm begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance.

''Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there.''

Meanwhile, Nick's mother Michelle Gordon recently released a statement following the 22-year-old aspiring actress' death, insisting Nick ''loved and cared'' for the star.

She said: ''The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family. Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they've been apart.

''Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time.''

Nigeria Federal Government Declares August 24-25 Diaspora Days



The Federal Government on Thursday in Abuja declared Aug. 24 and 25 as Diaspora Days to recognise Nigerians in Diaspora as important stakeholders in national development.

This is contained a statement issued by Mrs Ibukun Odusote, Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Secretary to Government of the Federation.

The statement said the days were set aside to create an environment for cross fertilisation of ideas among the Diaspora experts and their Nigerian counterparts.

Jérôme Boateng signs for Jay Z owned Roc Nation Sports




Rapper Jay Z seems to be getting more involve into sport business this days. The Business and Legendary Rapper has signed World Cup Champion football player Jérôme Boateng to Roc Nation Sports. Not really sure of what the impact of the signing would be, he could just be a brand ambassador to Roc Nation Sports. 

Boateng as it stand his the first Roc Nation Sport international football figure. Jérôme is currently a defender for Bayern Munich and Germany’s national football team.
