The two girls entered their SUV lapping each other and began licking their fingers and explained what they planned to do to each other when they reach home. Hmmm..

The President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, has issued an audacious vow to crush the jihadi group, Boko Haram, which has tormented Nigerians for years, with an estimated 20,000 people killed.

In an address Wednesday after receiving his Certificate of Return as the president-elect, Mr. Buhari warned that the sect will soon know the “strength of our collective will”.

“No doubt, this nation has suffered greatly in the recent past, and its staying power has been tested to its limits by crises, chief among which is insurgency of the Boko Haram,” Mr. Buhari, a retired general, said in Abuja.

Avril Lavigne said she thought she was dying after a Lyme disease diagnosis left her bedridden for five months.

The Canadian singer started to develop symptoms on her 30th birthday, but had no idea what was causing them.

"I could barely eat, and when we went to the pool, I had to leave and go lie in bed," she told People magazine. "My friends asked, 'What's wrong?' I didn't know."

The morning after..
It has been quite an interesting time in our Nation's History. Exhilarating for some, disappointing for others... but interesting nonetheless. The announcement of the 2015 Election results has dominated every news medium, traditional and social media platform in the last few days. Alongside most Nigerians worldwide, I was glued to my television throughout the process as INEC members slowly read out each result from each state, and then as the Chairman Mr Jega gave the final results and declared the winner.

Now that the dust has settled a little, it's time to share some of my random thoughts on what has just happened, and celebrate/highlight some of the key factors.

Bode George: "With Buhari's victory, I'll go on exile"


Chief Bode George who is the Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says he may be going on exile following the victory of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Maj-Gen Muhammudu Buhari (rtd).

Nigerian President Elect Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan for peacefully relinquishing power, a day after becoming the first Nigerian politician to unseat a sitting leader at the ballot box.
"President Jonathan was a worthy opponent and I extend the hand of fellowship to him," Buhari told journalists and supporters to loud applause on Wednesday.
"We have proven to the world that we are people who have embraced democracy. We have put one-party state behind us."
The margin of victory - Buhari got 15.4 million votes to Jonathan's 13.3 million - was enough to prevent any legal challenge.

Mother allegedly 'Kills Son' In Restaurant Bathroom


A woman whose one-year-old son died after she locked herself in a restaurant bathroom with him has been arrested.

When workers forced their way into the locked bathroom, they found the boy, Gavriel Ortiz-Fisher, unconscious and foaming at the mouth, reports said.

The 20-month-old boy was taken to hospital but was declared dead.
