NBC Officially Fires Donald Trump From 'Celebrity Apprentice'


Bob Greenblatt, NBC entertainment chairman on Thursday spoke on whether Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump would ever return as host of "The Celebrity Apprentice:" Absolutely not.

Greenblatt said that the show will not be back next season, but will return in the future with a new host.

NBC cut ties with Trump in June days after he made critical comments about Mexican immigrants and NBC canceled its airing of the Miss USA pageant, which Univision also decided not to air.

West Ham defeat ''a wake-up call'' for Palace trip - Francis Coquelin


Arsenal received a “wake-up” call with their shock defeat to West Ham, according to midfielder Francis Coquelin.

Arsenal Wenger’s men, tipped to launch a big challenge to champions Chelsea in this season’s title race, were stunned 2-0 in front of their own fans last Sunday.

A Texas woman Brooke Ochoa, 30, who was dining on her own at a local restaurant, noticed an elderly woman asking for a table for one and invited her to join her for lunch instead. 

The pair got on so well that they have now arranged to meet every week and the photographer has earned more than 2.2 million likes, 163,000 comments and 276,000 shares in just one week from people inspired by her story.

Bristow confirms Oworonshoki Lagos Helicopter Crash


The management of Bristow Helicopters Limited has confirmed the crash of one of its aircraft in the Oworonshoki area of Lagos on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 which claim six live and six other persons found alive by rescue team

The company’s Regional Director for Africa, Duncan Moore spoke on the incident via a statement. He said:
“Our thoughts are with those affected by the unfortunate accident. We regret the loss of lives in the air crash and we are ready to assist them with our full resources.”

Report: Tianjin Death Toll Rises To 44 in China Explosion


A day after two major explosions struck China’s northern port city of Tianjin, the death toll has risen to 44 with over 500 others injured.

Two blasts happened in a warehouse storing ‘dangerous and chemical goods’ in the port area of the city. Twelve firefighters were among the dead.
