I defy my bail conditions because no one questioned Buhari for not obeying court orders’- Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has defended his consistent flouting of bail terms handed to him by the court before his release from detention.

Mr. Kanu, in a video interview with some journalists that had emerged recently, claimed he could not abide by his bail conditions because President Muhammadu Buhari disregarded court orders to free him and other but was not questioned.

Wondering why those who were condemning him for breaching his bail terms, Mr. Kanu queried that “Where were they when Buhari breached court order upon court upon a court order to release me?
“Why didn’t anybody go to Buhari in Daura or Aso Rock to ask him why he failed to obey court orders to set me free, to release Dasuki, El-Zakzaky, and others?”
Mr. Kanu also backtracked on his earlier comment that Igbos should not worship in churches owned by Yorubas, saying he changed his view because the Yoruba people have changed– but what the change is, he didn’t mention.
“Yes, because they (Yoruba people) have changed,” he said on his change of view.
On his stance on the boycott of the Anambra governorship election, the IPOB leader maintained that members of his movement (IPOB) will not participate in the election.

When asked if such order will not result in bloodshed or violence, he explained, “How can there be bloodshed when you seat in your house and enjoying Ofe nsala on 18th of November 2017, how is that possible?”
“There’ll be no movement, no cats no dogs no chickens outside. There’ll be nothing”, he added.
