Mariah Carey wants an LA mansion as part of $50million settlement from her billionaire ex-fiancé

Mariah Carey has demanded that her former fiancé James Packer buy her a mansion in Los Angeles as part of her alleged $50million settlement, according to reports.

The singer was allegedly ordered out of the lavish Calabasas estate they shared after the couple broke up in Greece last month, but has refused to leave.

She now wants a new LA-based home along with a significant payout because she uprooted her two children from their base in New York to live with the Australian billionaire tycoon in California, claims TMZ.

The website adds that tension began to stir between the pair when Tommy Davis - the former chief spokesperson for the Church of Scientology - was brought in to cut down on excessive spending in Packers' businesses.

He allegedly pointed out Mariah's excessive purchases, causing arguments between Davis and Carey's manager Stella Bulochnikov.

Davis was the religion's main spokesperson between 2005 and 2011 before cutting contact. For a decade Davis was the spokesperson for famous member Tom Cruise, who first introduced him to Packer in 2002.
