Kanye West's children Saint and North don't know that their dad is in hospital. The 39-year-old singer was rushed to hospital on Monday with exhaustion and has remained in UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, California, this week.
It's now being reported his three-year-old daughter North and 11-month-old son Saint - who he has with his wife Kim Kardashian West - don't know their parent is in hospital and think he is just on a trip.
Speaking about the Famous rapper and his brood, a source told E! News :
"North and Saint [West] just think their dad is away now. Kanye wants to get better, so that's a big part in this healing process.
"Kanye is trying to get better, but he has not been released yet because he and the doctors feel he needs more time to recover.
"Kim is by his side now and will stand there till everything gets better. She plans on going to eat with her family later and the kids."
The source also added that the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star is feeling "overwhelmed" with Kanye's hospitalization, although she is trying her "best" to cope.
"Kim is overwhelmed but is doing the best she can.
The mother-of-two - who was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France, earlier this year - strongly believes the musician will overcome this and vows to do all she can to help her husband because he supported her during her horrific ordeal.
