JUST IN: Reps pass ₦7.441tn 2017 budget

The House of Representatives today passed the 2017 budget of N7.441 trillion.

The lawmakers, who commenced the consideration of the report of the appropriation committee at 12:15.pm, passed the budget at exactly 1.pm.

The Nigeria Red Cross in Yobe has embarked on sensitisation campaign to raise 100 new blood donors as part of a medical recovery programme for post-Boko Haram insurgency, Mr Zabu Buba, said.

Buba, who is Branch Secretary and State Officer of the group in charge of Yobe, disclosed this on Wednesday in Damaturu in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria.

The United States on Tuesday said President Muhammadu Buhari’s agenda were in line with its expectations.
