Femi Adesina comments on Zahra Buhari's 'extravagant' wedding in a radio interview

Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has countered allegations that Zahra Buhari's December wedding to Ahmed Indimi, was extravagant.

In a radio interview, he said the wedding was modest and blamed photos for being deceptive. He also compared it with former president Jonathan's daughter who he alleged got 80 car gifts on her wedding day. He said:

Ighalo underwent a medical at Watford training ground on Tuesday, January 31 after his former side agreed on a fee of £22million with the Chinese side, Changchun Yatai.

The striker who spent two half years with the Hornets signed his new deal with Changchun Yatai in London with his agent Atta Aneke.

Okechukwu Enelamah, the minister of industry, trade and investment, says anyone interested in doing business in Nigeria can now get a visa in 48 hours.

The minister said the federal government had issued a directive to this effect, noting that it was important to make it easy for potential investors to do business in Nigeria.

According to reports, the minister made this known at an event on Tuesday.

Enelamah said the federal government was carrying out series of reforms in the business environment to make it less difficult to do business in the country.

I can't pay - Nigerian woman slam £500k (N90m) bill after giving birth to quadruplets in London hospital

One of the largest hospitals in the country is chasing a bill of more than £500,000 from a Nigerian woman who gave birth to quadruplets.

The 43-year-old, named only as Priscilla, went into labour three months early shortly after landing at Heathrow airport in November.

She had intended to give birth to the babies in Chicago, in the US, where she has family – but was turned away by border officials upon arrival.

Two customs officers declared wanted for clearing seized 661 pump-action rifles (Photos)

Two officers of the Nigeria Customs Service who allegedly examined and cleared the ammunition-laden container at the Apapa port, Lagos State, have been declared wanted.

The officers, Abdullahi I,and Odiba Haruna Inah, fled after the weapons were uncovered by the operatives of the Federal Operations Unit, Zone A, Ikeja.

83 Nigerians deported from the United Kingdom

No fewer than 83 Nigerians are expected to arrive in the country on Wednesday (today) following their deportation from the United Kingdom.

Among those to be deported were residents whose documents had expired and prisoners whose terms of imprisonment were nearing completion, Punch reports.
