Tottenham failed to capitalise on their superiority as Sunderland's sturdy backline helped David Moyes' men claim a commendable 0-0 draw at home to the Premier League title hopefuls.

Mauricio Pochettino's side spent much of the match on the front foot and they will consider it two points dropped as they struggled to make the most of their pressure.

Sunderland gave a good account of themselves in the first period, their defence doing particularly well to keep Harry Kane quiet, although they were perhaps fortunate to keep 11 players on the field after a dreadful challenge from Jack Rodwell on Mousa Dembele.

Okechukwu Enelamah, the minister of industry, trade and investment, says anyone interested in doing business in Nigeria can now get a visa in 48 hours.

The minister said the federal government had issued a directive to this effect, noting that it was important to make it easy for potential investors to do business in Nigeria.

According to reports, the minister made this known at an event on Tuesday.

Enelamah said the federal government was carrying out series of reforms in the business environment to make it less difficult to do business in the country.

One of the largest hospitals in the country is chasing a bill of more than £500,000 from a Nigerian woman who gave birth to quadruplets.

The 43-year-old, named only as Priscilla, went into labour three months early shortly after landing at Heathrow airport in November.

She had intended to give birth to the babies in Chicago, in the US, where she has family – but was turned away by border officials upon arrival.

Two customs officers declared wanted for clearing seized 661 pump-action rifles (Photos)

Two officers of the Nigeria Customs Service who allegedly examined and cleared the ammunition-laden container at the Apapa port, Lagos State, have been declared wanted.

The officers, Abdullahi I,and Odiba Haruna Inah, fled after the weapons were uncovered by the operatives of the Federal Operations Unit, Zone A, Ikeja.

83 Nigerians deported from the United Kingdom

No fewer than 83 Nigerians are expected to arrive in the country on Wednesday (today) following their deportation from the United Kingdom.

Among those to be deported were residents whose documents had expired and prisoners whose terms of imprisonment were nearing completion, Punch reports.
