Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has described graduates of Nigerian public universities as brainless, saying they cannot communicate in English with the students of his private secondary school, the American University of Nigeria (AUN) Academy.

Abubakar, who spoke on Thursday evening in Yola during his birthday celebration organised by the management of AUN, said public universities graduates cannot fit into private industries due to their poor education and character.

Clever Campos, a 28yr old taxi driver in Peru stunned doctors when he walked into a hospital with a knife sticking out of his head. Passersby spotted him walking around in a daze with the weapon lodged deep in his head after he was reportedly knifed by another man following an argument.

An ambulance was called and he was taken to Loreto Regional Hospital, where he was filmed walking in himself accompanied by a surprised looking paramedic.

Their mom placed the 11-month-old on a changing table and turned her back for just a few seconds and that was when disaster nearly happened. Delta State | Police arrest 28 suspected teenage cultists in schools

The Delta Police Command has arrested 28 suspected teenage cultists operating in some public secondary schools in Asaba, in Delta, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

The State Police Commissioner, CP Zanna Ibrahim, disclosed this on Saturday in Asaba.

He said that the teenage secret cult group was known as the “Future Trigger Boys’’ (FTB).

Ibrahim said that out of the 28 suspects, 10 were students of Osadenis Grammar School, Asaba.

Pakistan military shoots down Indian spy aircraft

The Pakistan military said on Saturday that it shot down an Indian spy aircraft hours after Indian cross-border firing killed two Pakistani girls.

“Indian Quad Copter shot down by Pakistan troops at Aagahi Post in Rak Chakri sector” near Rawlakot along theLine of Control (LoC), a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations said.

The aircraft had intruded 60 meters in the Pakistani side of the LoC, which divides the two countries in the disputed Kashmir region.

Nigerian Army explains role of new Division in Niger Delta

The Nigerian Army said its newly-created 6 Division in Port Harcourt was established to organise and improve its internal security operations in four states of the Niger Delta.

Maj.-Gen. Kasimu Abdulkarim, the pioneer General Officer Commanding (GOC), of the Division , disclosed this to newsmen on Saturday in Port Harcourt.

EFCC calls for arrest warrant against Ladoja over N4.7bn fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Friday urged Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High Court in Lagos to issue a warrant for the arrest of a former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, along with his former aide, Chief Waheed Akanbi, for allegedly laundering N4.7bn.

A counsel for the anti-graft agency, Mr. Oluwafemi Olabisi, made the application on Friday following the absence of Ladoja in court for his proposed re-arraignment.
