Tony Blair Office confirms meeting with Buhari
Few days ago, some Anti-Buhari campaigners described this pic of Buhari and Former British PM Tony Blair which appeared online as fake, claiming that the APC presidential candidate was Photoshopped close to the former British Prime Minister, that no such meeting ever took place.
To find out the truth, Vanguard sent an email to Tony Blair's office, and they confirmed that Mr. Blair indeed met with Buhari in London...
"Mr. Blair had a private meeting with General Muhammadu Buhari in London. Mr. Blair hopes to visit Nigeria shortly when he will see the President. said Rianne Buter in an email response to Vanguard

FG has declared the Leader of the Boko Haram Sect wanted alive few days ago, few days later punchng report that The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation has raised the alarm about reports of a fake Abubakar Shekau (Boko Haram leader) allegedly being paraded by the Federal Government, which it says the government intends to use to create an impression that it is winning the war on terrorism.
It said credible sources had alerted the APC that the fake Shekau might become a tool to blackmail members of the opposition “by coaching the phantom terror chief” to say he was working for the opposition party candidate, Maj. United Arab Emirates spends $1 billion on satellite system
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - An official in the United Arab Emirates says the Gulf federation has reached a deal valued at just over $1 billion to buy satellite systems from European manufacturers Airbus and Thales.
The deal was announced Monday, the second day of the International Defense Exhibition, in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi.
Exhibition chairman Obadi al-Ketbi says the deal for the satellites and related equipment is worth 3.75 billion dirhams ($1.02 billion), part of roughly $2.6 billion in equipment purchases announced by the Emirates. He did not give details on the satellites' use.

An impending marriage ceremony is supposed to be the joy of every woman but for a young woman from Uburu autonomous community in Ohaozara local government area of Ebonyi State, it has been heartache and pains since February 14, 2015, when her would be husband lost his life in a ghastly accident when he was going for the introduction rites.
According to the Sun Newspaper, the lady and her fiancé who was said to be a native of Abia State, were going to her family home for the introduction that would precede their marriage but a few meters to her family house, the vehicle they were traveling in had an accident at Enufaith in Umunaga Eweze, just before the Ohaozara West Development Council, and the man happened to be only one to die in the crash.
Al-Shabaab Release New Video, threatens to attack shopping malls in U.S, UK, Canada
New report emerging says Somalia-based terror group, Al-Shabaab released a video online over the weekend calling for attacks on shopping malls in Canada, the UK and the United States. In the propaganda video posted Saturday February 21st, the al Qaeda-linked terror group reminded the world of its September 2013 attack on Westgate mall in Kenya in which over 60 people were killed and called for similar attacks on major malls in the three Western countries. Al-Shabaab identified specific malls, but international media is not listing the malls.

President GEJ replies Soludo over “missing N30 trillion” Claim
President Goodluck Jonathan seized the opportunity of an interview with a Nigerian newspaper last week to hit back at a former Central Bank governor, Charles Soludo, who accused his government of failing to account for at least N30 trillion, and allowing corruption to flourish.
Mr. Jonathan dismissed Mr. Soludo’s claim as politically-motivated, and ridiculed his academic standing, saying it was illogical for that sum to be “stolen” as his government had not generated that much in all its years in power.
In an elaborate article on the state of the Nigerian economy mid-January, Mr. Soludo had tackled Nigeria’s finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, over her management style and inability to steer the nation aright amid an oil crisis.

What's going on here? Thought it was confirmed that Riri is now hooked up with Leonardo DiCaprio. And now there is a report that Chris Brown and Rihanna can't stop texting.
The former couple - who split in 2013 - reportedly cannot ''cut off communication'' with each other but pals insist there are no romantic feelings between them.
A source said: ''Chris and Rihanna just can't cut off communication with one another. She actually wished Chris a happy birthday when he turned 25 last year, so he was returning the favour by wishing her many happy returns on Friday.

Gandhi statue to be unveiled in London next month
A statue of Indian independence leader Mahatma Gandhi is to be unveiled opposite the Houses of Parliament in London next month, the British government announced Sunday.
The bronze statue will sit alongside figures such as World War II prime minister Winston Churchill and anti-apartheid hero Nelson Mandela in Parliament Square.
The announcement came as the level of public donations to fund the statue passed £1 million (1.3 million euros, $1.5 million).
"Mahatma Gandhi is an inspiration," said Prime Minister David Cameron in a statement confirming the move.
President Jonathan says in an Interview that "I And My Team Underestimated Boko Haram"
In an interview with ThisDay, President Jonathan said he underestimated the strength of terror group Boko Haram when he assumed office as President but now believes that the leader of the sect will be arrested before the elections.

Madam Efunroye Tinubu was the first Nigerian woman to buy a car, she was also the first Iyalode of the Egba clan.
She was born around 1805 in Abeokuta, Nigeria and was once a slave trader who traded with Europeans.
Madame Tinubu built a financial empire through arms and salt trade. She married Adele, an exiled oba of Lagos years after the death of her first husband. She gained economic and political power through the marriage and was able to build a business empire through the trade of salt and tobacco from Europe for slaves from Abeokuta.
In 1835, her husband Adele returned to his throne but died two years later making her a widow for the second time. She then helped install Adele’s son, Oluwole as the new king and married his military advisor.
Barca Manager Luis Enrique says his Team deserved the defeat to Malaga
Manager Luis Enrique said the defeat was deserved after watching FC Barcelona crash to a shock 0-1 loss at home to Malaga here.
"It was not our day and that means that what happened, happened," he said Saturday, reported Xinhua. Enrique used the defeat to explain that at times a good performance from Barca's rivals can be as decisive as their attacking play.
"Games like this are good to make you realise that and the defeat is deserved."
The measure of surprise in the result is that Malaga had lost in their last 12 visits to Camp Nou but the effect of the defeat is that Barca failed to leapfrog Real Madrid at the top of La Liga standings and if Madrid were to register an away win against Elche Sunday, Barca would slip to four points behind and would need favours from other sides in order to be able to win the title.

I have been married to my hubby for 8 years and we are blessed with 4 boys which I had vaginally.
