If you are Nigerian this story should make you pounds your chest and say yes I am a proud Nigerian. Why did we say so? Well, some American musicians stars shamelessly stole a song from our own Nigeria singer, Phyno and made it theirs.
The song ‘I’m A Fan’ which made it to Phyno’s last album ‘The Playmaker’ which came out 6 months ago, where he featured Mr Eazi and Decarlo, which wasn’t really popular but actually a nice song, was copied by American pop singer Pia Mia who featured R&B star Jeremih, and guess the title ‘I’m A Fan’.
The song is not a single, but an official single released by Pia-Mia’s record label on her behalf, and she already promoting it seriously.
