Singer Simi walked the official red carpet so fast to escape cameramen and paparazzi from taking her pictures.
See what one photographer said and also Simi's respond:
‘Simi! Hi Simi! Simi here! Simi let me take your picture na,’ the cameramen requested.
‘There’s MTN here,’ the new Etisalat ambassador said as she walked away.
‘Simi disappointed us today,’ said a camera man. ‘But she’s not the type of person that shy away from cameras,’ he added.
Well, Simi's reason might be understood as she recently signed an endorsement deal with Estisalat and be that MTN is one of the sponsor of the AMVCA, she wouldn't want their brand logo showing in her photos.
