Triple MG boss and father of one, Ubi Franklin yesterday had a live video with his fan on Instagram at exactly 11:55pm, last night, where he sang worship songs and shed tears as he prayed.
Lots of comments on the live video urged him to stop crying and be happy he is a year older.
Read the emotional birthday message he posted after the cut:
"So many years of education yet nobody ever taught us to love ourselves and why it is important.
Never give up on something you really want. It is difficult to wait but worse to regret.
Stand up for what you believe in,even if it means standing alone.
If I'm wrong educate me, don't belittle me. The best time about worse times is that you get to see the true colours of everyone.
When I look back on my life I see pain,mistakes and heartache. When I look in the mirror I see strength,learned lessons and pride in myself.
I admire myself because i chose to shine even through all the storms I have been through. Because I knew I couldn't pour from an empty cup.
I remind myself every year on this special day how blessed I am to have been
given another year to experience the wonders of this beautiful world! God is good! My birthday is a day I cherish and love.
The last one year Has been tremendously interesting.
But I leave the final decision to God.
