Mark Zuckerberg: “No, I’m not an Atheist and I believe Religion is very Important”

Mark Zuckerberg says he now believes in God and Religion. The Facebook founder revealed it yesterday when he wished Christians a Merry Chritsmas celebration on his Facebook page.

If you follow Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg on the social network platform, you’d have noticed that he replies to comments made on any of his posts himself.

Yesterday was no different. After he posted his Christmas message to his followers, some of them began to ask questions bordering on faith and family.

Zuckerberg had posted:

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah from Priscilla, Max, Beast and me!

Seeing the moments of joy and family shared on Facebook today is one of my favorite things about our community.

I hope you’re surrounded by friends and loved ones, and that you have a chance to reflect on all the meaningful things in your life.

May the light of your friendships continue to brighten your life and our entire world.

After the post, a follower asked him “but aren’t you an atheist” and he responded thus:

“No. I was raised Jewish I went through a period where I questioned things, but now I believe religion is very important “

Below are top questions on his page and the reply he gave: MZ = Mark Zuckerberg.

Q: Damn, I love the fact that the owner of Facebook does actually replies to people who use Facebook.
MZ: Well, I love talking to people in our community.

Q: You forgot Jarvis, I thought he was part of the family.
MZ: Not a full member yet, one day perhaps we will include our Als.

Q: But why Facebook doesn’t notify that it’s Jesus birthday today??
MZ: You aren’t friends with Jesus on Facebook?

Q: But aren’t you atheist?
MZ: No. I was raised jewish and then I went through a period where I questioned things, but now I believe religion is very important.
