Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Akure Airport amidst tight security for the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign rally for the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State.
He arrived the airport at exactly 10:09 a.m. and was received by Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
Also on ground to receive the president were Kayode Fayemi, Minister of Solid Mineral Development; Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former governor of Osun State and Tayo Alasoadura, member, representing Ondo Central at the Senate.
Others were Alli Olanusi, former Ondo deputy governor; Isaac Kekemeke, former chairman of APC in Ondo State; and Jamiu Ekungba, a contestant in the APC primary election that produced Rotimi Akeredolu.
