Nigerian ladies heading to Russia for Prostitution nab in Cameroon

Eyambe Miliki Sona, a Cameroonian trafficker of sex workers is currently in police custody for alleged trafficking of four Nigerian girls to Russia through Cameroon.

The young girls who are all from Nigeria, seeking for greener pastures, agreed to venture into prostitution in Russia in order to make ends meet. They were promised their travel documents to Moscow as soon as they enter Cameroon.

The girls, who are between the ages of 19 to 24 years, got to Cameroon after been directed by Mrs Eyambe and lodged in a room while their travel documents were being processed.

One of the girls identified as Ewangi Patriarch, had said that they waited for two weeks upon their arrival for the documents, but became impatient after the delay.

The Divisional Officer for Muyuka Sub Division, Tambe Thomas Tabor and his collaborators got information about the sex workers, and began investigations which led to the arrest of Eyambe Maliki Sona.

During interrogation,  the accused was identified as a member of a criminal gang involved in trafficking sex workers to Europe.

The four girls will be handed over to the Nigerian Consulate in Buea for deportation back to Nigeria.
