Nigeria’s one-time High Commissioner to Ghana and Former Minister of State for Defence, Mr. Musiliu Obanikoro has arrived Nigeria, ending his self-imposed exile.
Credible sources close to the Minister revealed that Obanikoro whose family was hounded by the Economic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and was eventually declared wanted over the Dasukigate arms deal scandal had returned to present his own side of the story.
He had consistently stated his innocence and said that he had gone to the United States to study and would be back after his learning period. We gathered that he concluded that programme months back, thus his decision to return.
We are told that he would be visiting the EFCC today and would be accompanied by two Senior Advocates .
