Anayo Modestus Onyekwere popularly known as Kanayo O. Kanayo, Kanayo along with Kenneth Nnebue, Olu Jacobs, Enoch Adeboye, Queen Elizabeth and Fela Kuti were among Nigerians honored by the government in 2014 during the centenary celebration.
