Donald Trump Wins First Republican Primary Election By A Landslide

Oh Yeah, here you have it! Donald Trump, 69, is the winner of the New Hampshire primary on Feb. 9. This is the first primary of election season 2016, and a huge win for Donald, who worked hard to beat out John Kasich, 63, and Jeb Bush, 62, leaving former front runners  Ted Cruz, 45, and Marco Rubio, 44, in the dust.

Donald is the winner of the super important New Hampshire primary the first of the 2016 election season! It was a rough week of candidates campaigning and debating, trying to pull ahead of Ted, who took the lead at the Iowa caucus. This is a huge win for Donald, since the first primary gets so much attention and can be very telling for the rest of the upcoming presidential election.

Trump ran away with a landslide win over his former two biggest competitors Ted and Marco, who shockingly dropped to fourth and fifth place behind underdogs John and Jeb.  In New Hampshiure, 34% of the electorate went for Donald, who ran away with many of the state’s independent voters. It would seem that the most recent debate had a big impact on the election, with Marco struggling more than ever.

Donald was far and away the favorite to win the first primary election. He has maintained a steady lead in the polls, and just one day before the election CNN reported he lead with 17 points, with 33% of likely Republican voters choosing him. He was followed next by Marco with 16%, and then Ted with 14%. Ted was the big winner of the Iowa caucus. He took home 27.6% of the vote while Donald got 24.3% and Marco got 23.1%.
