Meet Fatima Abba Gwadabe, the first female pilot from Kano state. Fatima who hails from Dambatta LGC, lives with her parents at Suleiman Crescent, Off Ahmadu Bello Way, Kano. She was among the Kano state indigenes awarded scholarship by the state for a postgraduate programme in piloting after graduating with a first class degrees in 2012.
Fatima Abba Gwadabe was recently recognized by the the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with inclusion in the prestigious FAA Airmen Certification Database, after successfully completing her programme.
