Kanye, 37, posted a link to a site called Yeezy.Supply showing a count down sprawled across a screen with unknown footage in the background on Thursday night.
Fans were quick to speculate with some suggesting that it may be a countdown to a performance at New York Fashion Week which starts on February 12.
Others have suggested that it may be a counting down to a secret performance that will mark the launch of the Yeezus rapper’s Adidas launch.
Kanye is set to perform at the Grammy’s alongside Rihanna and Sir Paul McCartney on Sunday night.
The trio will take to the stage to perform their new song FourFiveSeconds at the bash in Los Angeles.
Other stars taking to the stage will be Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Madonna and Katy Perry – who recently wowed the crowds with a spectacular half time performance at the Super Bowl.
The 57th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by LL Cool J, will take place at the Staples Center, Los Angeles on Sunday February 8.
