Justin Bieber treat Police Officers to a Free Meal

In the spirit of Valentine Justin Bieber reportedly treated New York City Police Department officers to a free meal and later took a picture with some group of them.

The 20-year-old All That Matters singer is currently in the East Coast metropolis attending Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week events.

And according to TMZ, Justin covered a $200 tab for a group of NYPD officers Friday night. It's claimed the cops were eating at a table next to him and when it came time to pay the tab, Justin forked up the cash.

The Canadian star took a picture with five cops at the restaurant and he shared it with his over 60 million followers on Twitter, writing in the post caption: “#NYPD”.

Justin made an appearance at the Adidas x Kanye West Yeezy Supply show on Thursday, which took place in Manhattan.

And on Friday the Baby hitmaker spoke about how much he is enamoured with the Big Apple.

“Loving Nyc (sic),” he wrote on Twitter.

Justin was embroiled with legal problems last year, after being arrested for several violations. He was taken into custody for driving under the influence (DUI) and throwing eggs at his neighbour's house.

However, it seems Justin may be remorseful over his run-ins with the law.

He recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show apologising for poor behaviour.

"Like I said last time, I did a lot of things over the past few years that I'm not proud of,” Justin admitted.

"I am a human, right? I think people often forget that, even with their comments and stuff, they think it doesn't get to me. But it gets to me. Things that people say bother me."
