Jessica Simpson to release another Album after Four Years

Report says that Jessica Simpson is working on recording a new album, after her last release album in 2010.

The 34-year-old, who has created a billion-dollar fashion empire, is heading back into the studio to make a new album – her first since 2010.

According to In Touch Weekly, the mother-of-two is determined to revive her once successful music career and is already in the process of assembling the perfect team to help her do it.

“She's told friends she'd love to record another album. It's her New Year's resolution,” an inside source tells the magazine.

Those in the know reveal that the doting mother is building a recording studio in her home so that she won't miss out on precious time with daughter Maxwell, two, and son Ace, 19 months.

Of course, with a new album comes the inevitable promotional tour, during which she will rely on retired NFL player husband Eric Johnson, 35, to help carry the load.

But it's a sacrifice she's apparently willing to make, with the pull of music too strong to resist any longer.

“The plan is to get the new album recorded this year and go on tour the following,” the insider explains. “Jess has missed performing so much. She's very excited.”

Jessica got her start on The Mickey Mouse Club at the age of 12, which also launched the careers of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake among others.

She signed with Columbia Records at the tender age of 16 after record executive Tommy Mottola heard her Gospel album, Jessica, which was never officially released.

Her debut single, I Wanna Love You Forever, was released in 1999 and quickly made a star of the Texan singer, with her album, Sweet Kisses, certified two times platinum.
