Bill Gates Remains Top As President Trump Slips 220 Spots On Forbes List

U.S. President Donald Trump slipped 220 spots on Forbes 2017 Billionaires List while Bill Gates topped the list for the fourth straight year.

According to the list, Trump lost one billion dollars, with his worth dropping from 4.5 billion dollars to 3.5 billion dollars.

That was enough to see the president fall from the 324th to 554th spot on the list.

UNICEF Appeals For $1m Funding For Sri Lanka

The UN International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) on Tuesday appealed for one million dollars in funding to support Sri Lanka during the country’s worst drought.

UNICEF representative Tim Sutton said Sri Lanka was currently in the midst of its worst drought in 40 years.

Sutton said with over 1.2 million people, including 365,232 children were directly affected and in need of humanitarian assistance.
