Man breaks into mosque, rip off copies of Quran


A man broke into an Arizona mosque earlier this week and desecrated copies of the Quran, the Islamic Center of Tucson said Tuesday.

The suspect entered the mosque on Monday around 3:30 a.m. and ripped copies of the Quran before throwing them on the floor, according to a post on the center's Facebook page.

Joseph Attah, Customs acting spokesperson, told newsmen on Tuesday.

On March 2, the service announced that it would seize uncustomed vehicles (vehicles without paid duty) after April 12, and it directed owners of such vehicles to get the necessary customs documents before the deadline.

For the first time since 2015, consumer price index (CPI), which measures inflation in the economy, fell, signaling a recovery in the Nigerian economy.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the inflation rate dropped from 18.72 percent in January 2017, to 17.78 percent in February 2017.

Muhammed Shuaibu, the clerk of the House Committee on Agricultural Production and Services reportedly slumped and died, while walking on a staircase at the National Assembly complex, Abuja around 12 noon, Monday, March 13th. Shuaibu, 55, was immediately rushed to the National Assembly clinic where he was confirmed dead by the doctors.

British police to intensify search for Madeleine McCann who went missing 10 ago


British police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have been given additional funds to continue their search for the girl who vanished a decade ago. The UK Home Office gave police $103,000 (£85,000) to extend the search for six more months between April and September 2017. Madeleine was a few weeks to her fourth birthday when she went missing from her family's holiday apartment on May 3, 2007, in the Portuguese town of Praia da Luz.
