Woman who claimed £500k for being paralyzed caught dancing to Micheal Jackson's song


A woman jailed for falsely claiming £500,000 in disability benefits was caught on video dancing to Michael Jackson.

Maribel Milligan claimed she could only use one arm and was paralyzed down the entire left-hand side of her body. But she was seen raising her arms in the air and clapping to Jackson's famous hit, Bad.

A court heard despite claiming hardship, she also had homes dotted around the country - including pads in her native Venezuela.

38-year-old man arrested for raping 7-year-old boy in his shop in Lagos


A 38-year-old trader, Hafeez Yusuf, who lives in Kareem Oyelade street, Dopemu, Lagos, has been remanded for raping a 7-year-old boy who went to his shop to buy biscuit. Yusuf reportedly lured the little boy into his inner shop and penetrated the boy via his anus. The victim eventually confided in his mother when the pain became unbearable, leading to Yusuf's arrest.

A body artist has been slammed by animal rights activists after drugged his hairless pet Sphynx cat and covered it in tattoos.

The man, named only as Aleksandr, inked the animal, which he calls Demon, himself in the city of Yekaterinburg in central Russia'.Aleksandr, who has 10 tattoos on his own body, has given his hairless pet four major tattoos on its sides and chest.

American Rapper, Frank Ocean's Father sues him for $14.5 million for defamation


Frank Ocean‘s father Calvin Cooksey is reportedly suing him for defamation after the singer claimed that his dad once used a homophobic slur against him some years ago. The United States has sent a Navy destroyer to patrol off the coast of Yemen to protect waterways from Houthi militia aligned with Iran, two U.S. officials told Reuters on Friday, amid heightened tension between Washington and Tehran.

The USS Cole arrived in the vicinity of the Bab al-Mandab Strait off southwestern Yemen where it will carry out patrols, including escorting vessels, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

In 2000, the USS Cole was attacked when al Qaeda bombers steered a boat full of explosives into the side of the American warship while it refueled in the Yemini port of Aden, killing 17 U.S. sailors and wounding about three dozen others.

The security operatives who sealed the Abuja office of a cable and satellite broadcaster, CoreTV, early Friday morning were not from the State Security Service, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt.

SSS operatives seal private Nigerian TV, CoreTV


Security operatives believed to be from the State Security Service on Friday broke into the Abuja office of CoreTV, a cable and satellite broadcaster, carting away broadcasting and other related equipment.

Olajide Adediran, the CoreTV managing director, told newsmen the operatives also shut down the station and barricaded the area during the operation around 4:00 a.m. Friday, even though the media house had no history with the secret police.
