Man arrested for stealing pot of soup, wraps of fufu and half basin of garri (Photo)

A local security team, Igbogene Vigilance Community, Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, arrested a father of two for allegedly stealing a pot of soup, 12 wraps of fufu and half basin of garri flour.

The 35-year-old, who was identified as Kaduna Enatimi, was said to be an indigene of Akassa community, Brass Local Government Area of the state.

The Head of the vigilance group, Chief MoneySweet Asomo, said the suspect was nabbed at about 2am while he was consuming the stolen food at a local shop in the area.

Soyinka had issued the threat to destroy his American Citizen’s Card should Trump win. Reacting to the threat, Ajulo warned Soyinka that he risked a jail term of 3 to 7 years if he (Soyinka) cut his green card.

A woman, Biola Simon, has been arrested by the police in Lagos State for allegedly defrauding bank customers after giving them fake prophecies in the Dopemu area.

Punch learnt that Simon, who came from Ibadan, Oyo State, was arrested on Thursday by the Dopemu Police Division, after one of her victims reported her to the police.

While the suspect was arrested, it was learnt that other suspected accomplices fled.

Unknown Gunmen fire shots at James Faleke’s vehicle

House of Representatives member James Faleke escaped death after the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) conveying him from Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, to Abuja, was shot at by unknown assailants, The Nation reports.

Faleke disclosed this himself in a report he lodged at the Gwagwalada Police Division on the outskirt of the Federal Capital City (FCT).

According to the report, the lawmaker was attacked between 7pm and 7.30pm on Sunday, November 6.
