The leader of Biafra Independent Movement (BIM) Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, yesterday, disclosed that the present economic recession in Nigeria that has brought untold hardship on Nigerians, among other teething challenges facing the country, has justified his struggle to abandon the country and actualize the independent state of Biafra for over 17 years now.

#MANBUR: Jose Mourinho sent to the stands after losing his cool

The Special One was sent to the stands as his team failed to break down Burnley on a day in which Tom Heaton was in miracle form.

It might seem strange that Jose Mourinho is still living in a hotel nearly six months after taking over at Manchester United and he was similarly dislocated for the second half of United’s frustrating, temperamental stalemate against Burnley.

Mourinho’s passions got the better of him right before half-time on a day that was shaping up to be fruitless even at that stage. The United manager’s calls for a penalty stemmed from a Jon Flanagan challenge on Matteo Darmian just inside the Burnley area; it was a long-shot at best but Mourinho cried out in desperation for it to be given.

Manchester United 0 Burnley 0: Herrera sees Red as United's poor run continues

The Red Devils were unable to build on their EFL Cup win over Manchester City as their dismal form in the league was extended on Saturday

United, who also had manager Jose Mourinho sent to the stands at half-time, controlled the play and carved out a host of chances, but were unable to get past the sublime Heaton.

Tottenham 1 Leicester City 1: Ahmed Musa scores to earn Foxes a point

Ahmed Musa cancelled out Vincent Janssen's opener as Tottenham failed to find a way past Leicester City in Saturday's 1-1 Premier League draw.

Last season's main protagonists in the title race remain separated by eight points in the table, but avoiding defeat on the road for the first time in 2016-17 will have enthused Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri.

Spurs were utterly dominant in the first half and were deservedly ahead at the interval through Janssen, the summer signing scoring his third penalty of the season to open his Premier League account.

The Buhari Legacy Project By Reuben Abati

President Muhammadu Buhari’s strategists, if they are at work at all, are chasing ants and ignoring the elephant in the room. They do him great disservice. Their oversight is hubristically determined either by incapacity or a vendetta-induced distraction. It is time they changed the game and the narrative; time they woke up.

It’s been more than 15 months since the incumbent assumed office as President, but his handlers have been projecting him as if he is a Umaru Musa Yar’Adua or a Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, first time Presidents who could afford the luxury of a learning period before settling down to the job, and who in addition must prove themselves to earn necessary plaudits.

We saw what she posted online but we chose to ignore it because we are too busy to comment on such. Davido does not have any particular dancer that he works with. During the particular show, while he was about to perform, the organisers wanted to include dancers with his performance and he declined because the stage would not be big enough for him and the dancers to perform.
