NAF acquires 10 Helicopters to enhance operations, also Awaiting 10 Others

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, announced the planned increase on Friday during a visit by the Governor of Kaduna State, Mr Nasir El-Rufai.

Air Marshal Abubakar said the Air Force had acquired 10 helicopters and was awaiting 10 other training aircraft in a bid to enhance its operations to adequately support both the internal and external security challenges confronting the nation, in line with globally accepted standards.

Beyond the partnership, the Chief of Air Staff announced ongoing reforms in the Air Force aimed at further contributing to fighting Nigeria’s internal and external security challenges.

IINFEDELITY: Wife beats husband to death for cheating on her

A lecturer in the Theatre Arts Department of the College of Education Oju in Benue State, Godwin Abuul, has been allegedly murdered by his wife for cheating on her.

‎It was gathered that Abuul, who went missing about two weeks ago in Gboko, was killed by his wife.

She allegedly dumped his remains in River Katsina/Ala.

The deceased, Vanguard reports were declared missing in Gboko two weeks ago after returning from Oju where he lectured at the state-owned College of Education.

Narrating the story, a family source said, “Goddy used to lecture at the College of Education in Oju. He travels weekly from here in Gboko to Oju to lecture, after which he returns to Gboko to spend his weekend with his wife and two children.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has confirmed that the country’s team for the 2016 Olympic Games, will leave for their final training camp in the USA next week.

Civil servants in Ekiti State have suspended their four-week-old strike, following the signing of an agreement by the state government with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Joint Negotiating Council (JNC), today June 24.

Both sides agreed that no staff and representative of any union should be punished or victimized by a result if the strike. The JNC Chairman, Comrade Oladipo Johnson also said the suspension of the strike would allow for further consultations and expressed thanks to workers for their support during the strike.

Man arrested for impersonating to be a police officer, then enters mosque to yell ‘Jesus is Lord’

A man was arrested after he scared a group of Muslims by storming their mosque. The man of Kentucky, burst into the mosque during services and started yelling about Jesus.

37-year-old Luke Michael Roberts of Elsmere, was charged with theft, impersonating a police officer, trespassing and disrupting a lawful meeting after police said he entered the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati and interrupted prayer services.

Police said that Roberts entered the mosque in West Chester Township, Ohio, around 11:00 p.m., and shouted “Jesus is Lord,” while Muslims were praying.

Mom reveals she feel a better mom having sex outside marriage

A mother claims that she is a better mother now that she has sex outside her marriage with the permission of her children. 

The mother, who was identified as Gracie of California, said that she and her husband Hank, told her children about their open marriage.

Gracie said that they told their two young children that she and her husband will be having “special friends.” 

Her daughter Tallulah, who was just 10 years old when she learned of the open marriage, said that she was scared at first, but her mother assured her that she will only bring home men who will treat her well, and the child agreed.
