Following the closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport for repairs, the first international flight has landed at the Kaduna Airport. 

The Minister of State, Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, has declared the Kaduna International Airport functional, as Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja closes, temporarily, as from the midnight of Wednesday, March 8.
