“I am ready to refund his dowry" – Woman tells court

A civil servant, Mrs Victoria Ayegba, on Monday, offered to repay the dowry paid on her, in a bid to end a seven-year-old marriage that has turned to a nightmare.

“I am ready to refund the dowry. I will deposit it with the court registry so that he can go there and collect it,’’ she said.

NJC Says DSS Allegation of Bribery Against Justice Dimgba is Unfounded

The National Judicial Council has said the bribery allegation levelled against Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court by the Department of State Services is unfounded.

This was revealed in a report by Punch on Monday. According to the report, the NJC took the decision to dismiss the DSS petition at its two-day meeting held on February 22 and 23.

Qouting a source, Punch reported further that the petition was dismissed for lacking in merit after a period of trial.
