Ice Prince: I cheated On Maima and we are no longer dating

Super Cool Cats Boss, Iceprince Zamani has revealed he's no longer dating his French-Ghanaian girlfriend Maima.

In an exclusive interview with LIB, the rapper revealed how growing up as an orphan helped shaped his life and made him who he is today. He also revealed he's the one with a problem in all his relationships, as he always wants to cheat.

INEC says No electronic, diaspora voting in 2019 elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) on Monday ruled out electronic and diaspora voting in 2019 general elections.

The electoral umpire told the Senate that until the Constitution was amended and necessary logistics put in placed, the commission cannot delve into electronic and diaspora voting.

It said that electronic and diaspora voting do not only lack constitutional backing but were also expensive to execute.

IPOB blasts Obi of Onitsha over UK envoy’s visit

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused the Obi of Onitsha Igwe Alfred Achebe of plan to sell Biafra out to the British government.

The IPOB, describing Achebe as an ‘anti-Biafra,’ said the visit of the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Harriet Thompson, was in line to stop the agitation of Biafra.

United Nations Security Council condemns North Korea missile launch

The United Nations Security Council has condemned North Korea’s test-firing of a new ballistic missile and urged its members to “redouble efforts” to enforce sanctions against the reclusive state.

The 15-member council met on Monday after Japan along with South Korea and the US asked for an urgent meeting.

Sunday’s launch of the Pukguksong-2 missile violated UN resolutions banning ballistic missile launches and marked a major escalation from Pyongyang’s shorter-range rocket launches.

It was also the first direct challenge to the international community since US President Donald Trump took office on January 20.

AMCON appoints KPMG to audit Arik Air

The new management of Arik Airlines has appointed international audit firm, KPMG, to undertake a forensic audit of the finances of the airline.

Part of KPMG’s mandate is to ascertain the true status of the airline’s finances.

A statement released by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, Monday, said the review will among other objectives cover the position of the company’s asset and liabilities; their utilisation; recording and utilisation of loans; and propriety of third party transactions.

Other objectives of the audit exercise, according to the statement, include looking into fraud controls over Procure to Pay (PtP); agents, business partners, and financial reporting; and Arik Airline’s financial position as at January 31, 2017.

Governor Amosun: I Visited Buhari In London, But I Won’t Say Much About His Health

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, on Monday admitted he visited President Muhammadu Buhari in the United Kingdom, UK, but, said he won’t disclose any details about the President’s health.

Addressing journalists during an event at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, the state capital, the governor maintained that the President is “well and okay.”

According to Amosun, “Yes it is true I visited our president in London and he is doing fine. If you ask me pointedly whether I saw him or not, yes I did and that is the only thing that I can say. And of course you can see he is very well, he is okay. So I don’t know what else you want me to say.

Hoodlums set a section of Osun State High Court on Fire

A section of the Osun State High Court located in Ayeso area of Ilesha  has been set ablaze by some unknown persons, Channels Television reports.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred in the early hours on Monday, and the security officers on duty were tied up as the hoodlums tried to gain access into the premises to carry out their act.

The fire led to the destruction of valuable documents in Court One.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Folasade Odoro, who confirmed the incident, said that the police had begun investigation to nab the perpetrators of the act.

Details of Phone Conversation Between Donald Trump And Buhari

President Buhari this afternoon from London spoke to US President Donald Trump on telephone at the request of the American President. According to a statement released by the Senior Special Assistant to Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the conversation was cordial and Pres. Buhari congratulated Trump on his election as President of the United States, and on his cabinet.
