Trump considering ‘brand new’ immigration order

US President Donald Trump said Friday he had no immediate plans to fight for his migrant ban at the Supreme Court and was considering a new executive order to overcome legal hurdles.

Insisting that he has the law on his side despite two defeats in federal court in quick succession Trump said security concerns may dictate a quicker response.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed that recovered monies are paid into the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federal Government.

Delta Pastor allegedly kills church member for rituals during prayer session

A Pentecostal church pastor identified as Jessiah (surname withheld) with his church in Ugbolu community near Asaba, Delta State is currently on the run after he allegedly killed one Ejiofor Ujah, a member of his church during prayer session for rituals.

It was gathered that the victim was allegedly invited by the pastor for the prayer session and never returned until two days after his whereabouts became unknown.

Police Public Relations Officers in the state, Mr. Andrew Aniamaka who confirmed the incident, disclosed the corpse of the victim after a search was conducted by Ugbolu villages, was found by a hunter in a soak-away few meters away from the church, adding the pastor and two of his cohorts had taken to their heels.

Nigerian trio; Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman and Sone Aluko have been nominated for the 2017 London Football Awards.

Also nominated is the elder sister of Sone, Eniola Aluko.

The list of nominees published by on Saturday by westham.vitalfootball.co.uk shows that Iwobi and Lookman are in the race for the Young Player of the Year award category along with Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli, Arsenal's Hector Bellerin and Ryan Sessegnon of Championship club, Fulham.

Aluko is in the category for the Football League Player of the Year, while his sister, Eniola is in the Women's Player of the Year category.

19 students including SUG president arrested for assaulting policeman

No fewer than nineteen (19) students of the Polytechnic of Ibadan including their Students Union Government (SUG), President Oluwadamilola Peter Edema were arrested on Friday for assaulting policemen on duty at the Oyo State Police Command’s headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan.

Edema, eight other executive members and their colleagues according to an Higher National Diploma (HND), student of the institution had gone to the police headquarters to bail two of their colleagues who were arrested by the police on Wednesday.

Abraham Kiptum of Kenya wins 42.1km Lagos City Marathon

Kenya’s athlete, Abraham Kiptum has won the 42.1km Lagos marathon. This is the second time Kiptum is winning the competition.

At least 100,000 athletes from 27 countries, including Nigeria, participated in the race. It also featured around 64 elite athletes from 26 countries, 30 special athletes and 102 runners from Nigeria.

A teenage mother has been accused of sexually abusing her infant son and producing child porn with the resulting images.

Jazmine Nichole Pacyga, 19, from Michigan, allegedly performed oral sex on her three-month-old son, according to court documents.

The assault occurred on Feb. 5 and Jazmine “admitted” to the crime. She has been charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct and manufacturing child sexually abusive material. She faces up to life in prison.

A teenager who cries tears of blood has left medics baffled by his mysterious condition.

Akhilesh Raghuvanshi, 13, first started suffering nosebleeds three years ago which his parents initially put down to dehydration.But soon the youngster was bleeding from his eyes, ears and mouth almost every day.

He even loses blood through the skin on his hands, legs and face without being cut or scratched.

Medics suspect he might have an ultra-rare condition similar to haemolacria - which gives sufferers half blood tears - but have been unable to officially diagnose him.

Akhilesh said the bleeding can happen as many as ten times in one day.

37-year-old Chioma Ochemba, a commercial sex worker in Ayobo area of Lagos, took away her daughter, a seven-year-old girl as she threatened to kill the girl on Monday.

Ochemba, an Imo State indigene, shocked her neighbours after she smashed a wood on the girl’s head, inflicting an injury that covered the child in blood, after accusing her of losing a N100 slippers she had bought for her the previous day.
