Cultists surrender arms, ammunition in Rivers State

Cultists on Tuesday surrendered 911 arms, including AK-47 rifles and pump action guns, to the Rivers State Government in the just-concluded Amnesty Programme declared by the state.

This is as the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, also placed a ban on vigilante groups in the state after receiving a report that some vigilante members belonged to various cult groups.

The cultists also laid down 7,369 ammunition through the Chairman of the State Amnesty Committee, Mr. Kenneth Chinda, at the presentation of the committee’s report at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

A housewife, identified as Mrs. Ogenyi, has been beaten to stupor by her angry husband for allegedly investing the family’s saving in Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox, otherwise known as MMM, Daily Post reports.

Daily Post gathered that problem ensued between the couple, who resides on Balogun Street, Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos Sunday afternoon, after the husband returned from a trip to his hometown in Benue and discovered that the family saving box was missing.

Frances Hall, 53, was jailed for two years in September after being convicted of killing her estranged husband Bill Hall Junior in San Antonio, Texas.

Her husband's younger lover, Bonnie Contreras, now 34, is accused of taunting Hall with the messages but insists she is 'not a bad person'.

UPDATES! Whatsapp extends Blackberry shutdown

WhatsApp earlier this year announced they would no longer be supporting BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 handsets by the end of 2016 but it seems they have changed their mind.

Snoop Dogg's 22-year-old son, Corde Broadus is being accused of raping a pornstar. The pornstar, Leya Falcon went on Facebook yesterday and described a horrible encounter that she claims happened between her and the “son of a celebrity.” 

She alleges she was drugged and raped.

She didn't mention the person's name but 'Therealpornwikileaks.com' identified the person she was talking about as Snoop Dogg’s son Corde Broadus and claimed they got Leya’s permission to post her full story on their site.
