Since Donald Trump won the presidential election last week there has been an alarming increase in racist behaviour in America. Many stories have been making rounds online about people's experiences, especially ethnic minorities, and Muslims, but there have been doubts about the authenticity of these claims. Well, now we have a verified and authentic first-hand experience of one black girl, and it has gone viral.

An African-American Natasha Nkhama was minding her business walking to her class at Baylor University in Texas, when a guy “went out of his way” to bump into her, and shove her off the sidewalk.

Arik Air blames emergency landing on ‘noisy engine’

The management of Arik Air has said the emergency landing on Friday of its Boeing 737 aircraft flying from Lagos to Jos was due to a noise in one of the engines.

The aircraft, with registration number 5N-MJD, reportedly lost one of its two engines mid-air with over 100 passengers on board.

Soldier who fakes his own kidnap arrested in Eket

An army officer, Musa Lawal, who was reportedly kidnapped in Calabar last Thursday, allegedly faked his abduction.

Lawal was abducted around 10am after leaving a bank along Calabar Road in the Cross River State capital by his cronies, according to a security source.

It was learnt on Sunday that Lawal had allegedly arranged for his abduction to pave the way for an undisclosed illegal movement to Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
