French President and Hillary Clinton Blood Related

US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is distantly related to French President Francois Hollande, according to a new book that claims they share royal blood from doomed kings of the 14th century.

Clinton, whose maiden name is Rodham, descends on her mother’s side from families from Canada’s French-speaking province of Quebec, according to French genealogist Jean-Louis Beaucarnot.

These immigrant families can be traced back to more than a dozen regions all over France, Beaucarnot writes in his book “Dico des Politiques” which was published last Thursday.

ISIS urge supporters not to vote but to "slaughter" voters in the US elections

ISIS has called for the "slaughter’ of Americans voting in Tuesday’s Presidential election.

The terror group has called on its followers to attack voters in the election and has told Muslims not to cast a vote.

It comes after the FBI was reportedly probing a major terror attack planned for the day before the US elections in multiple states.

President Buhari, Saraki Reach Agreement Over $29.9b Loan Request

President Muhammadu Buhari and Senate President Bukola Saraki may have made up on the $29.9 billion loan approval which the executive is seeking from the Senate, The Nation learnt last night.

Buhari and Saraki are understood to have met three times on the issue in the last few days since the Senate turned down the request last week. Saraki has already admitted that the loan request may be represented by the executive.

Federal Court Orders FG, Okonjo-Iweala To Account For Nigeria’s ‘missing N30tn’

The Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered a former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and the Federal Government to “provide information on the spending of the alleged missing N30 trillion which represents some accruable income to the Federal Government during the last four years of the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.”

The judgment was delivered last week by Hon Justice Ibrahim Buba following a Freedom of Information suit number FHC/L/CS/196/2015 brought by the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP).

An Italian priest has blamed the country's earthquakes, which have killed hundreds and left thousands homeless, on gay civil partnerships. Father Giovanni Cavalcoli said the seismic shocks were 'divine punishment' for same-sex civil unions 'offending the family' and the 'dignity of marriage'.

He made the comments on the day central Italy was struck by a 6.6-magnitude quake - the most powerful to hit the country in 36 years.

House of Rep Members vow to arrest Customs CG over N250m alleged fraud

A committee set up by the House of Representatives to probe why the service paid the sum of N250 million to a firm as commission for insurance cover, has threatened to issue arrest warrant against the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Hameed Ali.

The committee said this following the non-appearance of Ali to explain the deal in question.

The ad-hoc committee probing the allegation chaired by Rep Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade (APC, Ogun) had summoned Ali.

Blac Chyna to have her birth in a $4,000-a-night maternity suite

With Blac Chyna's due date imminent, it's thought that Rob Kardashian's fiancé is planning on using the same lavish maternity suite that Kim Kardashian used previously.
