Former President Obasanjo Explain How Nigeria can Overcome Recession

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has called on African countries to explore trading opportunities within the continent as part of efforts to boost their economies.

Obasanjo made the call on Monday when a delegation from the National Council of Industry, Trade and Investment paid him a courtesy visit at his hilltop mansion in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

The delegation, led by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enalamah, included the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Aisha Abubakar, and members of some committees of the National Assembly.

Vice President Osinbajo leads 30,000-man convention to pray for Nigeria

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, is to lead a 30,000-man prayer convention to pray for Nigeria’s economic recovery.

The prayer session is slated to hold in Abuja from November 16 to 19.

Cosmos Uzodinma, member of the 2016 Africa Convention Abuja, said the convention is being organised by the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International-Nigeria.
