Federal Government appoints Okhiria as NRC boss

The Federal Government on Monday appointed Mr. Fidet Edetanlen Okhiria, the Managing Director of Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC).

Confirming the appointment on Monday in Abuja, the Director, Public Relations of NRC, Mr. Mahmoud Yakubu, said Okhiria has been on acting capacity before his confirmation.

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, yesterday disclosed that aggrieved members of the party had reconciled.

The acting Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has reaffirmed that the ongoing anti-corruption fight is not selective.
