The man is trying to change people’s perception of agricultural work through his unusual attire.

According to Oddity Central, whether he’s driving a tractor, or is standing up to his knees in the marshy rice fields, Kiyoto is always wearing an elegant suit complete with shirt and tie.

A man has used a log of wood to brutally murder his brother-in-law for continuously pestering him for bride price. The man who was arrested told police he killed his wife's brother as he was always in the habit of making such demands anytime he was drunk.

According to The Chronicle, Thomas Moyo, 63 is now cooling his head in police custody for killing Fayo Ncube, 52. The incident happened last Thursday around 9 pm in Zimbabwe. Moyo was arrested on Tuesday at an abandoned shack where he had been hiding at Ndamuleni Village.

Fayo’s daughter Ms Sithokozile Ncube said Moyo was arrested in a bush about 25 km from their village.

Jihadist group Boko Haram has freed 21 of the more than 200 Chibok girls kidnapped more than two years ago, raising hopes for the release of the others, officials said Thursday according to the Vanguard.

“I cannot comment much because the two have not appeared in my court. However, I have heard about the embarrassing incident,” Chief Njelele in whose jurisdiction the incident occured said. The chief further added he is not surprised by the incident as he revealed some people having been engaging in incestous acts in secret.

Federal Government grant freed Chibok Girls scholarship and jobs

The Federal Government has promised to take care of the education and job needs of the 21 freed Chibok girls. The promise was made by the Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo while visiting the girls at the DSS Medical Centre, Abuja, where they were receiving medical attention on Thursday.

According to a statement released by his spokesman, Mr. Laolu Akande, Osinbajo as saying that the government will make provisions for girls to go back to school and also provide employment for those who wish to work.

Sports Minister: Abuja will host Sports Festival if Cross River can’t

Nigeria’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, has said Abuja will host the 19th National Sports Festival if Cross River is unable to do so.

Cross Rivers won the rights to host the festival after the last Games in Lagos in 2012.

According to Dalung’s special adviser on media, Nneka Anibeze, the main Local Organizing Committee for the festival is asking the Sports Ministry for N650m to host the competition.

Afghanistan | More Than 200 Police, Soldiers Killed - Officials

Hundreds of members of Afghanistan's security forces have been killed recently fighting insurgent attacks on the main city in the southern province of Helmand, officials said on Friday.

Abdul Majeed Akhonzada, deputy head of the provincial council, and lawmaker Sheer Muhammad Akhon put the number of soldiers and police killed in the past 10 days in and around Lashkar Gah at more than 200.

Three Police Officers In Court For Torturing Man To Death In Lagos

Three policemen, Inspector Surulere Irede, Sergeant Sunday Ogunyemi and Corporal Hezekiah Babatunde, were on Wednesday re-arraigned at the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja, for the alleged unlawful killing of one Olayode Ayoade.

Irede, 46, Ogunyemi , 40, and Babatunde were docked before Justice Sendoten Ogunsanya on a count of manslaughter.
