“Age is but a number with God,” Claudette Cook, 60, said after giving birth to fraternal twins last week, The Root report. “Plus, I was healthy and in shape. I was like…I know I can do this. No matter how hard it was, He brought me through it all, so, awesome God.”

Cook gave birth to twin boys named Isaac and Isaiah, each weighing in at five pounds. The babies arrived nearly a month before the Indiana native’s original due date, WFIE adds.

#DasukiGate: ECOWAS court orders FG to pay N15m to Sambo Dasuki, for unlawful arrest

The Court of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, has ruled against the arrest and continued detention of former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, describing it as unlawful and arbitrary.

Delivering judgement today in a suit filed by Dasuki, the court ruled that the further arrest of Dasuki by security agents on November 4th last year after he was granted bail by a court of law, amounts to a mockery of democracy and the rule of law.

Protests in Ethiopia after dozens of people died in Stampede (PHOTOS)

Protests broke out in some areas of Ethiopia’s Oromiya region on Monday, a day after dozens of people was killed in a stampede at a religious festival.

Witnesses said that the stampede was sparked by police trying to quell demonstrations.

Reuters reports that opposition politicians and government officials gave contrasting tolls of casualties that took place during the annual Irreecha festival in the town of Bishoftu, some 40 km (25 miles) south of the capital Addis Ababa, where police fired teargas and shots into the air to disperse protesters.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) yesterday destroyed illegal oil refineries and barges filled with petroleum products.

The refineries and barges were sighted by NAF Diamond 42 aircraft on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission in Bille Community of Rivers State. Thereafter, a Mi-24V helicopter gunship was called in for the attack.
