Nasiru Shua’ibu, a professor in the Biochemical Parasitology Department of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has developed a new malaria vaccine to prevent high rate of death from malaria fever.

Customs impound rice worth N597billion from Border Smugglers

The public relations officer of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Wale Adeniyi, has diclosed that between January and August 2016, the service has seized rice worth N597.7 billion brought into the country through the borders.

Christine, a mother of four kids committed suicide by throwing herself in a well in Gituamba village, Subukia in Nakuru County on Monday, September 19.

According to Tuko, Christine jumped into the well within her home compound on Monday at 5.30am.

Her husband Anthony Kiragu fainted immediately after hearing the shocking news and was rushed to Faith Health Centre in Subukia town.
