Czech president says he'd vote Donald Trump

Outspoken Czech President Milos Zeman announced Tuesday he is backing US Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump, pitting himself against his country’s prime minister who favours Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.

“I’d vote for Donald Trump if I were a US citizen,” Zeman said, quoted by the Dnes Czech daily.

Fuel (Gas) scarcity hits some US cities

Some states in the USA are experiencing fuel (gas) shortages especially states in the South-East of the country including Tennessee and Alabama.

The fuel shortage was sparked when a 330,000-gallon spill shut down a gasoline pipeline in Alabama on the 9th of September. This, in turn, led to a spike in fuel price.

This has become a problem as some cities have gone into panic prompting some people to start stockpiling fuel in their homes for fear of an all-out scarcity.

Rochas Okorocha advocates Jail Term for Female genital mutilation

The Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has warned that from henceforth, female genital mutilation (FGM) will attract imprisonment.

Rochas Okorocha affirmed that as soon as the bill against FGM is passed into law by the State House of Assembly, punishment for offenders might run into several years of imprisonment.
