Dwindling Economic | Banks Close Branches, Layoff Workers

Investigation reveals that a number of Banks will be forced to close a few branches and layoff workers due to the recession.  The report stated that most of the banks would lay off hundreds of workers between now and December.

It would be recalled that Unity Bank Plc laid off about 300 workers just a day ago. Diamond Bank Plc, Ecobank and Skye Bank Plc had earlier in the year sacked over 3,000 members of their workforce.
