Arsenal Alexis Sanchez share updates on his gruesome ankle injury

Alexis Sanchez insists he is feeling "much better" despite posting a gruesome update on the ankle injury he suffered in Chile's Copa America Centenario triumph. 

Chile secured back-to-back Copa titles last Sunday after a second consecutive penalty shoot-out win over Argentina in the decider.

However, Sanchez went off in the first half of extra-time after failing to shrug off an injury suffered in the opening minutes, courtesy of a crunching Gabriel Mercado challenge. 

Chelsea FC release Pato, Falcao and Amelia

Alexandre Pato, Radamel Falcao and Marco Amelia have all left Chelsea, the club have confirmed.

Pato and Falcao depart following the expiration of their loan deals from Corinthians and Monaco respectively.

The Brazilian made just two appearances for Chelsea after joining in January, scoring his only goal from the penalty spot in the 4-0 win over Aston Villa in April.

Pato's agent, Gilmar Veloz, this week claimed Chelsea had the option to sign his client on a four-year deal.

United States Military lifts ban on Transgender Personnel

Turkish official says Istanbul Airport suspected ISIS bombers were Uzbek, Russian, Kyrgyz

Three suspected Islamic State (ISIS) suicide bombers who killed 43 people in a gun and bomb attack at Istanbul's main airport this week were Russian, Uzbek and Kyrgyz nationals, a Turkish government official said on Thursday June 30.

The suicide bombers opened fire to create panic outside, before two of them got inside the terminal building and blew themselves up. The third detonated his explosives at the entrance. At least 239 people were wounded in the attack.

According to Reuters, the Turkey official who confirmed the terrorists' nationalities, declined to be named because details of the investigation have not yet been released. Forensics teams had been struggling to identify the bombers from their limited remains, officials said earlier.

Shocking video which emerged on Tuesday morning shows three apparently drunk youths shouting hurling racial abuse and shouting at a man to "Get back to Africa' on a tram in Manchester.

According to Manchester Evening News, the man, who spoke with a foreign accent had asked the young men to stop using bad language as they were frightening other passengers.

The youths responded by hurling abuses at the man, telling his to "get back to Africa," Get off the tram now. Bro, I 'll waste you. I 'll waste anyone and Dont chat sh*t when you are not even from England, you little f***king immigrant"

The man, whose nationality was not mentioned, asked how old the youth is, "18,19? I 've been here longer than you".

A police corporal who was recently arrested for armed robbery, confessed to having supplied arms and ammunition to robbery gangs in various states, including Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa states. 

Christ Oboko Onitsha Ugbo, was arrested after he allegedly led his gang on a series of robbery operations in some states in the Niger Delta region. He is currently being detained by the Inspector General of Police’s Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT)
