I'm a Fighter'- Janice Dickinson speaks About Breast Cancer Struggle

American model, photographer, author and talent agent Janice Dickinson has open up about her battle with breast cancer on Wednesday's The Doctors. Calling her illness a "journey she never thought she'd be on," Dickinson, 61, preluded to her cancer story by reflecting on her modeling success saying, "I use to obsess over image, I'm the world's first supermodel, I've been in front of cameras. I will never keep quiet when something is bothering me. I'm a fighter." 

Adding, "I'm not the type of woman to fall apart but it's nothing to downplay." 

The former supermodel revealed last week that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Beyoncé has finally address the controversy surrounding her “Formation” music video and the backlash she received after some people (and police unions) took the video to be anti-police.

In her new interview with Elle magazine, she makes it clear that her message is NOT anti-police and that anyone who thinks that is mistaken.

Her unclad body was discovered today in a bush within the area as the residents have been thrown into panic and fear over the shocking incident.

Federal Government to increase fuel price next month - Minister

The minister of state for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu has revealed that the Federal Government will increase fuel price by next month.

This is despite the current scarcity of fuel Nigerians have been made to face lately.

Daily Post reports that the minister made the announcement when he visited the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) in Abuja.

Kachikwu also promised that the fuel crisis will end in Lagos and Abuja on Thursday, adding that it will end by the end of the week in other states.

The "Witched & Wizard" Tree that refuse to fall in Delta State

Wonders shall never end! So yesterday there was this video making waves on the internet about a tree somewhere in Agbor, Delta state which they say it is where witches and wizards hold their meetings. According to the people in the community, so they got a caterpillar to bring down the tree, which ultimately 'refused' to go down/get uprooted. 

In the video, you can hear the superstitious fellows shouting when the tree goes down and bounces back up. The tree apparently has strong roots and buried deep down but they are convinced its the witches and wizards that don't want the tree down.

He said his only concern is for his son's safety and happiness. He added that he's happy for her as long as it doesn't affect his happiness. Excuse me, why are you worried boy? Six lawmakers suspended indefinitely by Nasarawa Assembly

Yesterday we brought you a breaking news report about the physical combat that was taking place in Nasarawa House Assembly, 6 legislators who where mainly involved in the disorderliness were summoned by DSS to give account of what happened while the other legislators voted for them to be suspended indefinitely.

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly yesterday put six of its legislators on an indefinite suspension for their alleged role in the free for all fight on the floor of the House on Monday.

The state governor, Tanko Al-Makura had dissolved the boards of the various council administrators after their two-year tenure ended on March 24th.

The governor immediately appointed sole administrators to man the affairs of the Local government areas, a decision that was not welcomed by the state house legislators who according to them, had resolved to immediately conduct elections so that new Local government chairmen can be sworn in.

REVEALED: CBN Recruited 909 Staff in 2 Years Without Advertising Vacancies

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) recruited 909 staff in two years without advertising the vacancies, investigations have revealed.

The whole affair is now a subject of investigation by the Federal Character Commission (FCC) to determine if due process was violated. The FCC is the body responsible for ensuring equity, fairness and balance in all employments into government establishments.

Investigations showed that some of the basic requirements for employment were not followed in the recruitment. For instance, the various positions to be filled by candidates were not advertised, and the figures also suggested that the exercise was lopsided in favour of certain sections of the country contrary to the provisions of the federal character.

Battle in National Assembly over unpaid salaries

A showdown is imminent between presiding officers and management of the National Assembly over a three month unpaid salaries of political aides appointed by the officers.

Both the presiding officers and principal officers were permitted by the Revenue Mobilization, Fiscal and Allocation Commission (RMFAC) to appoint specific number of aides who were placed on consolidated scale of remuneration.

Since the beginning of the 8th assembly, it was gathered that the management had not found it easy paying the salaries of the aides and that of established workers due to paucity of cash flow.

It was confirmed at the weekend that the last time political aides, appointed by the presiding and prin­cipal officers, received their salaries was in December, while those who were given letters of appointment since January were yet to be paid a dime.

Femi Adesina says "Buhari Sold His House to Access FOREX for his Child’s Education"

Femi Adesina, The special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari sold his property to access foreign exchange (forex) for his child’s education.

Mr. Femi Adesina, who could not confirm if the president got forex from official sources or the parallel market, said one would have to ask the president himself.

Speaking in an interview with Osasu Igbinedion on The Osasu Show, Mr. Adesina said the central bank of Nigeria (CBN), is experiencing a paucity of forex.
