Nollywood Producer of Half Naked Movie reply critics for slamming him

Christian John (aka Krissyjoh Chris), CEO of Krissyjoh Pro­duction, has revealed why the women in his new flick bare their breasts. According to him, there is no place in the bible where God prohibits making epic films with nude women and girls.

“I am just trying to bring back the ancient tradition where women dress without covering their breasts in public,” he said.

One wonders how he got the cast of the movie but he revealed that it was through audition like every other movie.

“I got them through audition. They are most­ly upcoming actresses who just want to feature in a movie. They are not doing it for money. It took me time to convince them to join the cast.

Nollywood Actress Rita Dominic Joins Gender Equality Bill Protest In Lagos

Rita Dominic, Laila St Matthew Daniel and other women hit the streets of Lahos yesterday to protest the Gender Equality Bill which was rejected by the Senate.

The protest was organised by Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) and took place at Alausa, Ikeja near the Governor’s office.

Rita is a well respected feminist who fights for womens rights. The fiercely private actress who keeps her personal life away from the media, has never publicly revealed the identity of any man in her life.

VIDEO: 11 years old steals cement truck ... Police chase after him

Lol, what's this little guy thinking? An 11-year-old boy went on a joyride with a cement truck on Sunday and eventually led police on a high-speed chase.

The chase began around 3:00 p.m. Sunday near the town of Kasson.

It lasted over an hour as the boy inside took deputies across the county.

He even collided with a state patrol car and a police car.

BREAKING: CAN holds Emergency Meeting Over Kidnapping Of Kaduna Christian Leader

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has convened an emergency meeting to unravel the circumstances surrounding the abduction of the President of TEKAN/ECWA, one of its Blocs, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Dziggau, by unknown gunmen in Kaduna.

The General Secretary of CAN, Dr. Musa Asake, said on Tuesday that the meeting would take place on Thursday in Abuja with a view to ensuring that “all hands remain on deck to make sure that those who do not wish the Church well do not succeed.”

When contacted, the spokesperson of Kaduna State Police Command, Mr. Abdullahi Zubairu, said he had yet to be briefed.

#RiversRerun: APC Candidate Demands Refund From INEC Official (VIDEO)

In a most twist to the River State rerun election, a video has surfaced online showing Azubuike Nwajoku, a candidate of the APC for a seat at the Rivers State House of Assembly, as he storms the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collation centre in Ikwerre Local Government Area and violently confronts an unidentified electoral official demanding a refund.

Nwajoku, accompanied by thugs invaded the collation centre, approached the desk of an INEC official in the collation centre, banged the table, confronted him violently shouting, “Where is my money?”.

The incident, sources say, happened in the morning of Sunday, March 20, 2016 after attempts to rig the elections by the APC were thwarted by vigilant voters and it was apparent that Nwajoku had lost the race to the state house of Assembly. Following the confrontation, a fracas ensued attracting the intervention of security personnel on duty.

Customs Bans Rice Importation through Land Borders

Nigeria Customs Service has re-introduced the restriction order on importation of rice through land borders across the country.

Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (Rtd) gave the approval for the reversal of an earlier policy in October 2015 which allowed rice imports through the land borders, once appropriate duty and charges were paid.

Wale Adeniyi, spokesperson of Nigeria Customs Service said in a statement that at a review session held with Comptrollers of Border Commands and Federal Operation Units held in Abuja, the Service noted that dwindling revenue from rice imports through the land borders do not match the volume rice landed in neighboring ports. Rather, reports from border commands indicated an upsurge in the tempo of rice smuggling.

Nigeria Photographer Suing 2face and Annie Idibia for N120m (Read Story)

A photographer, Mr. Emmanuel Okolo, has filed a N120m copyright infringement suit against 2face, and wife, Annie.

According to punch newspaper, the photographer sued the couple and one Mr. Anthonio Anifite before Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High Court in Lagos.

He alleged that the defendants made use of some photographs he took at the traditional wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Idibia in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in 2013 without duly attributing the works to him or acknowledging him contrary to an alleged agreement.

Not Again! Building collapses in Lagos killing 1 person and several others injured

Barely few weeks after the Lekki building collapse, another tragedy struck again in Lagos yesterday, when a building at No 9, Alli Close, Mile 12, partially collapsed and killed a 47-year-old woman with several other residents injured.

According to an eyewitness, a part of the balcony in the building had caved in, but the residents of the building refused to vacate the place.

A lion mauled a 63-year-old pedestrian on a highway in Kenya after wandering out of the Nairobi National Park on Friday.

Officials captured the lion, named Cheru, that left the park and ran down a busy highway at about 6 a.m. local time, according to The Star.

Code of Coduct Bureau: How Saraki converted Kwara Govt funds to personal use

The Code of Conduct Bureau on Friday alleged that the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, moved funds belonging to Kwara State into his personal account while he was governor of the state.

The allegation is contained in a counter affidavit deposed to by the bureau in response to a fresh application Mr. Saraki filed challenging the jurisdiction of the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

The tribunal is trying him for alleged false asset declaration and corruption while in office as governor between 2003 and 2011.

He was arraigned last September on a 13-count charge but he denied them all, saying he was being persecuted.

When the matter came up for hearing on March 18, Kanu Agabi, SAN, the new counsel to the senate president contested afresh the jurisdiction of the tribunal.

Twitter CEO confirms 140 Character Limit Is Here To Stay

Sometime early this year there where reports circulated that Twitter was exploring expanding its 140-character tweet limit and a lot of people weren't please with the idea, but according to CEO Jack Dorsey, that restraint is here for good.
