110 petroleum pipeline vandals roasted in Arepo, Ogun State

Sympathisers wept profusely in Arepo area of Ogun State yesterday as no fewer than 110 suspected petroleum pipeline vandals were roasted to death. The incident occurred along the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) pipeline.

According to LEADERSHIP, the vandals were scooping fuel when it ignited the fire, which raged for several hours.When this reporter visited the scene, some survivors and other people were seen trying to put out the inferno.

EFCC conclude plans to probe Jonathan’s Ministers, Aides

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has concluded plans to commence the probe of the Ex President Goodluck Jonathan with investigations into the financial transactions of his ministers and aides.

The Chairman of the commission, Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, had already directed that all petitions against former public officers at the federal level should be forwarded to him to be acted upon.

Findings showed that former ministers, special advisers, heads of parastatals and those of other Federal Government agencies would be invited for interrogation by the EFCC in few weeks from now.

Police arrest SA pastor who made his followers eat snake, but also grant him bail

Remember the South Africa Pastor Penuel Mnguni of the End Times Disciples Ministries, that we wrote about before that subject his church members eat snake and says its chocolate, all in the name of deliverance (if you miss out, Read Here)? Well he is on our story again this time he was arrested by the South African police over the weekend but was granted bail today July 20th.

The South African Society for Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals opened a case against the controversial pastor late last week. The association say they will pursue a criminal case against him.

Governor Fayose blast Former President Obasanjo over comments on Jonathan’s performance

Governor, Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has called on former President Olusegun Obasanjo to stop his repeated verbal attacks on the immediate past President, Goodluck Jonathan.
